CHAIRMAN of Blue Diamond Logistics, Mr. Festus Mbisiogu has said that the interventions of the administration of Governor Rochas Okorocha in road construction, healthcare and education are yielding results, noting that the successes of the programmes are verifiable in Imo State.
He also said the government is succeeding in key areas of governance, urging the governor to ensure that most of the ongoing projects are completed before the end of his tenure.
He particularly commended the state government for embarking on massive road construction across all the local governments, describing the development as a good catalyst for development.
In addition, Mbisiogu hailed the construction of hospitals in each of the 27 local government areas in the state.
Briefing newsmen after undertaking a tour of the state, Mbisiogu, a philanthropist, noted that the infrastructural development in Imo should be seen as a model.
He further described the free education programme in the state as effective, noting that so many beneficiaries of the scheme abound.
His works: “Upon my return the country, I undertook a tour of my state and was impressed with the things I saw on the ground. Imo is taking a new look and this is empirically verifiable by anyone. The roads have been constructed as four-lane roads like the ones in Abuja. For a state that is committed to industrilisation, linking up every part of the state is quite impressive. This should serve as a template for anyone aspiring to succeed our dear governor. As am I talking, some road projects are also ongoing, and that testifies to the commitment of the governor to development. Governor Okorocha deserves commendations for things he has done and I also urge him to ensure that the ongoing projects are completed before the end of his tenure.”
